Associate Member (AMRAeS)
An Associate Member is an Aeronautical or Aerospace professional who:
- holds a UK Honours degree or international equivalent AND has two years’ professional training and/or experiential learning OR
- holds a National or Scottish Vocational Qualification (NVQ or SVQ) Level 4 or equivalent, such as a BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) or an UK ordinary degree or international equivalent, AND has three years’ practical training and experiential learning, including at least two years' experience at an appropriate level of responsibility OR
- is a Licensed Aircraft Engineer and has held a UK CAA Licence with type rating or its international equivalent for three years, or has appropriate company approvals, and two years' work experience involving supervisory and/or technical administration OR
- has twelve years' appropriate experience.
Exceptions may be made for those who have made outstanding contributions to Aeronautics or Aerospace.
