Critical Materials Seminar

POSTPONED

This IET event will discuss the challenges and problems that can arise when using critical materials.  It will also explore some of the tools and methods which can be used to help manage the problems.

This event was originally scheduled for 5 February 2014 but has been postponed until later in the year.

The Future Challenges in Military Primary Healthcare

Global Aerospace Summit 2014

7-8 April 2014

Advanced Materials for Demanding Applications Conference

 7 - 10 April 2014

This conference and exhibition will be held at Glyndwr University's St Asaph campus and is being organised by the Institute of Physics, with the support of a number of organisations.

The objective of the conference will be to bring together researchers with interests in composites and other specialist materials, with technology demonstrators working in demanding engineering applications requiring high specific strength or stiffness, high temperature performance, high tolerance geometrical stability or other unusual and challenging requirements.  It will also showcase new developments in new materials, as well as to demonstrate the applications and technology gaps where such new materials could be applied.  There are opportunities for delegates to take part in the conference and promote their organisation through the exhibition or sponsorship.

Mountain Medicine: The Science and the Sport

Airborne Conflict Safety Forum

10-11 June 2014

The organisers (Flight Safety Foundation, European Regions Airline Association, and EUROCONTROL) will be jointly presenting another single issue Operational Safety Forum in 2014, this time on Airborne Conflict Risk. It will be held at EUROCONTROL, Brussels on the afternoon of 10 June and the morning of 11 June 2014.

The Safety Forum aims to attract global participation of representatives from all the aviation sectors concerned with the aim of producing a conference report which documents the consensus findings and conclusions.
