Progress Towards Open Rotor Propulsion Technology
This conference aims to indicate the potential advantages, such as lower environmental impact, and the technical challenges of open rotor propulsion from both an aircraft and engine perspective.
The conference will also assess recent research and development work from the EU and national programmes, in relation to potential future configurations for novel Open Rotor Propulsion Systems.
In addition, the conference will present evidence of progress in important areas such as aerodynamics and noise and to indicate systems level integration issues.
